I'm a cross-stitch person.

Some would call it an addiction. And yes, there's more.

And now I'm a good portion of the way (almost finished all the x's and was ready to begin the detail/backstitching work) through this. And I only started it in September.

Now...I'm leaning towards doing something else. What? I don't quite know. I've thought about maybe doing a piece for Horizon's new temple space. Maybe something in the same medium as the chalice cover I made...metallic thread and braid stitched onto velvet. No clue.

But I'm in a very dangerous place when it comes to projects *evil grin*.

I'm like that with clay projects... I never quite have the first one finished before my brain is coming up with the next... I usually have several in the works at the same time, in fact... :/ (of course, that's okay when you are doing something with multiple stages, right? one's drying, the other is firing... and so on. O:) innocent grin goes here)

That is a beautiful sampler. It also seems that segments of it could be isolated and used in other projects. I love cross stitch too.
Your chalice cover was gorgeous! Very rich looking on the velvet. I made a blue satin chalice cover with blue and gold seed beads dripping from the corners, which helped hold it centered on the cup. Chalice covers make good needlework projects.
Nice work!

I like how the cover turned out, though I kind of wish I'd made it bigger since it doesn't stay centered all that well.
