I have no qualms about benefiting from someone else's inability to pay their mortgage.

Unfortunately, these also look *way* too good to be true. I admittedly don't know a whole lot about foreclosed homes.

Yeah, it's another variant of the nigerian scam. You pay the $950 to have the title transferred, then they disappear.

Rocket_Jockey and I were looking into foreclosures while we were househunting... they're not very easy to get into, and can be awfully darned hard to finance if you don't have that magical 20% down...

If you figure out how to do it, let the rest of us know - they're not all POS properties.
