some last thoughts on Heath Ledger
Jan. 23rd, 2008 12:20 amIf it was accidental overdose/unknown health condition/drug interaction/accidental death of some sort (we don't know for sure and I'm leaning towards this opinion until I hear otherwise): Absolute tragedy.
If it was suicide?
"Man has the right to die when and how he will" (Liber OZ)
Yes, it's tragic. Yes, it hurts those left behind. Yes, in its own way it is selfish.
If someone I cared about was contemplating suicide...yes, I would do my best to try and stop them, and to help them. But in the end the final decision will rest with the individual and there is only so much I can do about that.
